Nibepo Aike keeps the shape of the old Patagonian estancias: a house in the vernacular style of the first settlers, old wood floors and a fire in the living room, on the southern arm of Lago Argentino and inside Los Glaciares national park. More than twelve thousand hectares run to the border with Chile. Sheep made it, Hereford cattle keep it going, and the work of the place carries on around the guests: gauchos bringing horses, cows and sheep in from the horizon.
