The deeds of El Bordo de las Lanzas go back to 1609, which makes it one of the oldest ranches in the country, and it is still a working estancia. It lies near General Güemes, 45 minutes from Salta, on land that was a battleground in the wars of independence, and the Arias Cornejo family receives its guests in person. Two nights here are the most direct way into the countryside of Salta: its horses, its cattle, its history and its table.
