| WATERFALLS, JUNGLES AND SWAMPLANDS. |
Argentina's northeast, home to the world famous Iguazu Falls, is practically virgin territory since it has not yet been fully developed by the tourism industry. Its exuberant green vegetation is made up of a unique combination of forests and jungles. From the immense forests of autochthonous palm trees in the Palm Tree National Park to the tropical Amazonic Jungle, this region boasts the rarest Wildlife species in all of Argentina. Black Caymans, assorted monkeys, Carpinchos (large, web footed south American rodents) venison, snakes, and exotic birds and plants like the Victoria Regia are all to be found in the exciting Ibera Swamplands. |
